For comparison, I took some photos of the main shopping street in Kowloon, Hong Kong. This is Canton Road where major brands like Gucci, Prada, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Swaroski and so on have huge shops here. Even the DFS Galleria is here. But unlike Orchard Road in Singapore, there isn't any big, shady trees but just 3 small, skinny trees and some pathetic flower pots along the narrow pathway. Notice though that the dustbin/ashtray is also right beside the flower pots.

The main feature of this road are the extremely big advertising banners.
